Family: We have been married for 18 years this March and have two little ladies. Amelia May is 11 years old and Ruby June is 8. We drink serious coffee and make a pretty mean charcuterie board when the occasion calls for it. We love to go to the beach every chance we get, have been total suckers for Disney over the years and we coach both our girls in basketball - matching sweatshirts and all! We really celebrate a sense of “team” in our family. Everyone has a part to play and a unique contribution to make. We value family and community relationships, a healthy rhythm of life, lifelong learning, and good ‘ole fashioned fun!
A bit about Sam: I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry from Oral Roberts University and immediately jumped into the work of building the local church. I helped plant a church in Destin, Florida, in ’01 and joined the team at Church on the Move in ’07. My journey up to this point has included preaching, series and content development, building, leading and developing volunteer and staff teams, overseeing kids, and student ministry in a multisite model and executive leadership.
A bit about Angie: After growing up at Church on the Move, I joined the staff team in 2000. Creative Arts and Communications have been my focus over the years. I’ve had the opportunity to serve in many different roles and capacities, including student ministry, producing services and environments, pastoring artists and building a team, conferences for training leaders, evangelistic events, teaching content and series development, executive leadership, and preaching.
Education: We are both currently pursuing our Master’s in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary.
